Just like we are running the Mets play back (with some good reasons), we are running the Orioles Team Total again from last night. Let’s do a quick recap of the last two POTDS: The Giants score 4 in the first three innings then get shut down by the 5th worst bullpen in baseball, with runners on second and third no outs in the 7th and 8th innings as we get hooked on their over 4.5 Team Total. Last night, the Orioles got 2 hit by Chris Bassitt, who they had just tagged for 5 runs in his last start, while hitting .400 against him in a large sample size. The Blue Jays’ 3rd worst bullpen in the MLB was able to hold off an Orioles bases loaded no outs situation as Toronto won 5-2.

Tonight, we look to get on the right side of these razor thing margins and bounce back in a big way as we look to back the Orioles Team Total once again as we assume last night was a bit of a fluke for one of the league’s best offenses.

Bowden Francis gets the start for Toronto tonight, as he has a 5.64 ERA and 1.46 WHIP. We are not really concerned with the matchup here, as Francis is a bullpen guy. We more or less love that we will get a full 9 innings of the Toronto bullpen. Give us some Orioles’ runs here tonight as look to avoid dropping the first two games of this divisional series and try and stay atop the AL East.
