RHP Johnny Cueto is making his first appearance for the Angels this season tonight against the Royals. Amidst all this hook madness that we have been facing, the Royals have remained strong for us. We look to them yet again to anchor us in what has been a tumultuous month. 

As for the Royals, they have been on-fire in the month of August hitting .284 at the plate and in their last 10 they are 7-3 and have hit a staggering .305 over their last 10 games scoring 61 runs on 110 hits. We like some scorching hot bats like Bobby Witt Jr. and Vinnie Pasquantino to keep swinging tennis rackets at the plate. 

The Royals have hit this Team Total in their last 5 games, as they have scored a combined 38 runs. They have a 4-1 record in these games and have been much better over this stretch. 

Against RHP, the Royals are 5th in the league with a .256 average and again have dominated at home at the plate. They hold a .270 average when in Kansas City and we look for them to continue this today against Cueto as we see him being a little rusty in his first start of 2024.
