Going back to the loyal Royals here. Should’ve gone back to them last night, but we move. They face Tyler Anderson today. On the season, the LHP has made 24 starts for the Angels and is 9-11 and holds a 3.30 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP. His splits are pretty crazy as he has struggled considerably at home compared to on the road. At home, Anderson has a 4.46 ERA in 14 starts and has allowed 13 home runs over these starts. This is a game that is definitely the battle of the splits as you have Anderson that is better on the road, and you have the Royals who are dominant at home. At home, the Royals are second in the league in BA with a .270 average and over their last 10 have been dominant. Hitting .295 and going 7-3, scoring 64 runs on 105 hits. Against LHP this season, the Royals rank 9th in the league with a .258 average. They do have a pretty extensive history against Anderson, as in 85 ABs the Royals have hit .271 and have a .287 OBP.
