8/10 Pick of the Day: San Diego Padres @ Miami Marlins 4:10pm EST

Roddery Munoz makes the start for the Miami Marlins. He's has been riding a bit of a roller coaster lately. His last game against the Cincinnati Reds on August 5th was a tough one—he lasted just 3.2 innings and let six runs slip by on seven hits, including a couple of homers. Against the Tampa Bay Rays at the end of July he showed some solid form, where he kept them to just two runs over five innings.

Then there was the game against the Orioles, where again, the home run ball haunted him; he gave up three homers and six runs in another five-inning stint. Home runs have really been a thorn in his side this season, with a whopping 21 homers given up in just 13 starts.

Playing at home hasn’t been too kind to him either. In six starts at his own park, his ERA has ballooned to 6.82, compared to a much more manageable 4.74 when he's pitching away. At home, he’s also allowed 10 homers and walked 20 batters, which really hasn't helped.
