We have been waiting all series for the Celtics Team Total to drop a little bit, and tonight we get that for Game 3. After hovering around 110.5 the first two games, the team total has finally dropped to 105.5, as the series shifts back to Dallas and the Celtics go on the road for the first time in the NBA Finals. With 107 and 105 in their first two games, the Celtics have been efficient on offense, but nothing like their dominant self throughout the playoffs. In Game 1, they had 63 points in the first half and just 44 in the second as they built a big lead. In Game 2, they shot just 25% from 3 on 39 attempts.

This game should be closer tonight, as the Mavericks are favored at home. Luka has been good so far in this series on offense, but Kyrie has yet to get going. We have seen this team struggle when both of their star players can’t make shots. Tonight, there will be an emphasis from the Mavericks to get Kyrie going. If he can, that will allow Luka to play more freely. We believe that this game will be a little higher scoring than the first two games, as the Mavericks have their backs against the wall and the Celtics will look to shoot better from behind the arc.

We don’t have a play on any side, but do believe that the Celtics can score at least 106 points tonight.
